One of the most beautiful things about our business is the ability to work with who you want to work with. In my last corporate job I had another one my other best friends Lisa work with me, but we were in competition in our positions. Our USANA business is a family and we all work together to benefit everyone in any way we can. Beautiful.
Now, my very best friend since high school and Maid of Honor in our wedding had no idea she would too own her own USANA business. When Chris and I first ran into each other again in 2005 and starting dating she was a HUGE skeptic. But then again, I was too! When I started coming around with the idea of actually working the business and I kept trying to tell her she needed to work with me. Needless to say, after two long years she finally became apart of our amazing team :) And I have thanked God everyday she has.
What a beautiful thing to be able to share your triumphs and struggles with the only other person who knows me best besides my husband? One of my very favorite things about what we do is watching what people become after getting involved and being stretched in ways they would have never thought possible. Now don't get me wrong, the money is a great side effect but the beauty is helping people be able to take control of their own lives.
I am so very proud of Felicia, there really is no words. She has grown into such an INCREDIBLE leader and mentor to her team and is impacting so many people around her. Tonight I watched as she talked to some potential team mates and saw a sparkle in her eye. The same sparkle I'm sure I get when I talk to people and they finally understand that they don't actually have to work 8-5 their entire lives and hope to someday retire. It's the look of hope.
I love watching Felicia's business grow and watching her grow. She is such a beautiful woman inside and out and I love her dearly. I know that someday soon our dream of going to the airport together with no luggage, looking at the flights screen to see where we want to fly that day and buying clothes when we get there, is coming sooner than we know :)
