Well, I was officially on hiatus after this crazy weekend. My goal was to blog everyday as Brian challenged me to do, but honestly Saturday and Sunday were just so crazy I didn't have a chance to even get to a computer! I am exhausted again tonight, so this will not be very long but had to get my "writing fingers" warmed up :) I want to dedicate a whole blog to my amazing experience from Saturday evening at the Children's Hunger Fund Banquet, that will have to be tomorrow. It was incredible.
Today was a great Monday. Started it off with day 12 of yoga, then off to a doctors appointment with my mom (she is doing great and does not have any medical issues as we previous thought, Praise God), and then met my best friend at one of our other friend's, Lisa's house. Lisa had her son, Jaxson about six weeks ago and is doing a fabulous job as a new mommy. We couldn't be more proud! Felicia and I thought she deserved a little something special though, so we devised a plan to tell her it was a girl's night tonight and we would be there at 4 to hang with Jaxson and make dinner for her. Little did she know that we had already set up an appointment and paid for her to have a massage while we watched Jax! I think she was truly moved and we were so happy to be able to show her how much we loved her.
Fun side note: Jax fell asleep on my chest and I dozed off for a few minutes too. All of a sudden he woke up SCREAMING! I had no idea what had happened and thought, "Hmmm... maybe he needs changed?" Just then, I looked at his onesie and it was soaking wet! I laughed and told Lisa her son peed himself. It was hilarious until I realized that he peed all over me too!!! My shirt AND my jeans. Oh wow... can't wait to give him a hard time when he gets older. These are the days when I think, "Do I really want children that badly right now?" Oh well, not for us to decide. It is all in God's time :)
Until tomorrow my friends!
