Today I can only seem to think about my husband, Chris. So, on my daily post it would only seem appropriate to talk about the man who makes me smile.
These beautiful specimens were a surprise from my hubby this morning before he left for Houston to do some work with our team. The beautiful card said:
I love YOU Princess! You Bless me every day of my life! I love you so much! -Topher
Wow... total brownie points :) For those of you who know me I am a sucker for flowers. I love them! Especially Gerbera daises.
Now, I know it can be annoying when people talk about their "soul mates", but I honestly believe Chris is the most amazing man to ever have walked this planet. And I am so thankful to call him my husband!
He has this amazing heart for people and is so genuine. He also has an incredible work ethic and ability to never give up on anything he does until he is the best!
When we first met, he was moving up the ranks quicker in USAA than most. He always tells the story that when he first interviewed he told the interviewer that he was going to run that company someday, and he believed Chris.
I wonder... fours years later, where would he be within that huge corporation now? Strangely, I am so very grateful he had the insight he did to quit and do our business full time. When he decided in 2006 to leave his job and "security", I was NOT HAPPY! Of course that was before I truly understood what this business really was. I really wish I could convey how my attitude about our business has changed DRASTICALLY since then. That would be entirely another blog though :)
Today, I am just grateful for the man who makes me smile. Some people may not understand how wonderful it really is to work day in and day out with the man you love. To wake up when we want to wake up and plan our day how we want to plan it. It's priceless.
